The Alternative universe that could have been...

During the run up to the US presidential elections the world was constantly reminded that Sarah Palin was 'only a heartbeat away' from the presidency if the Republicans won the election.

So, simply put, do you think John McCain will survive Obama's first term? This prediction, despite being a little morbid serves as a reminder of the alternative Republican universe that could have been...

Sarah Palin, president?

If McCain would have won the election and passed away during his first term of course wild eyed Sarah Palin would have been US president. Let's not forget her media mocking and some of her best moments (see video below).

Election 2012

This prediction is set to end around about the time of the next US election in 2012, at the end of Obama's first term.

Will Palin be back? She seemed to think so in her first post-election interview. Yikes.

As for who will win the next election, get a low down on the odds here. Betfair also has a nice review.

So, let's watch and see...

    Quotes_2_aMcCain will be here
He looks and acts younger than when he was running the campaign. Being back in the senate has energized him. After Jindal's performance, Palin's stock has gone up,. She is not as stupid as she has been portrayed. Somehow being from Alaska and having a working class background disqualified her for higher office.Quotes_2_b
