Will Chris Brown do jail time before his 21st birthday?

I forecast it 70% likely. What a great PR stunt?
US recording artist Chris Brown recently hit the headlines for flipping out and beating up hottie girlfriend Rihanna.
No charges have been pressed so far but is this the start of a downward trend like other similarly violent celebrities (think Mike Tyson), or does this star have some staying power?
According to Mama Pop:
"Truth be told, Chris probably won't serve jail time. Very few batterers do. If he is found guilty, and I don't want to discount that he has not been found guilty of anything, he hasn't even been charged with anything, he will probably do anger management and counseling and go on his merry way."
And, sadly Rihanna and Chris are back together again. More at People. Crazily, he might plead self-defence if pressed into a corner.
Chris is known for a variety of recent film and tv awards, in addition to his music career.
So Chris is 21 in May 2010 - will be make it without jail time?

Too well connected
He won't (although he shoulds) - he is too well connected and too famous. Second and third offences, maybe, but unlike his brothers on the streets, this little brown duck won't be anyone's showerblock b*tch for a while yet.
